GenomeQuest's Sequence Informatics Platform provides Informatics executives the industries’ lowest cost, highest performance alternative to enterprise-wide sequence data management. The open, web-based system eliminates the need for database administration, freeing informatics resources to publish results from custom workflows accelerating raw sequence data into knowledge.

Platform Services

All-Against-All Sequence Comparison Server— the central workflow performs exhaustive “all-against-all” comparisons of one or 100 million selected queries against all selected sequences in all databases to produce query able result databases. A wide range of industry standard and proprietary sequence alignment methods can be used in combination to produce highly accurate and relevant scientific results.

Compute Cloud Management—all computation and data are distributed across a network of commodity-class PCs to provide massive parallelism and therefore high performance, scalability, and low-cost. Algorithms, computation, and data resources are accessed via simple Web user interfaces or Web Application Programming Interface (API) freeing users from details of bioinformatics processing and IT issues.

User Account Management - The system provides for secure access by end-users and provides mechanisms for archiving and sharing search results and databases.

Database Aggregation – Through our GenomeCast™ service, all public domain reference data is aggregated, scrubbed, indexed and broadcasted to remote GenomeQuest web servers. The data is automatically loaded without the need for manual intervention on the client side.
