Supporting Technologies

The GenomeQuest Sequence Informatics Platform contains several supporting technology that extends the functionality of the platform and enrich the user experience. These supporting technologies are GenePAST, HS3 and FilterSmart.

GenePAST is the algorithm of choice for patent‐related sequence searches and for sequence searches that involve short sequences like primers, probes and peptides.

HS3 is a suite of powerful sequence search methods that are ideal for any next-generation sequencing data file. The suite supports either local or global alignment methods.

FilterSmart enables a rapid on-the-fly filtering of large result sets, reducing hundreds or thousands of results per query to highly relevant results in minutes.
